该剧根据尾鱼的同名小说改编，讲述了“沙漠玫瑰”叶流西（倪妮饰）与“智勇沙獠”昌东（白宇饰），一个为了解开身世之谜，一个为破解过往真相，两人联手深入沙漠的故事。
